About Me
I grew up in Oostduinkerke, a nice village at the Belgian coast. I went to high school in Veurne and went to Ghent to obtain the Master Degree of Applied Linguistics.
My parents have a nice business of their own: De Paardehoeve.
My youngest brother Dominique and my dad Johan go shrimpfishing by horse. That is a very touristic activity in Oostduinkerke, after all, the village is known for its festivities about shrimps.
My mother Linda works in the cafeteria.
My oldest brother Frederik is a computer expert. With all due respect, I will not spend a lot of words on explaining what he does, just have a look yourself! Frederik Online.
I have two great dogs Ganja and Xar and in a few days Ganja will have puppies! So I am very excited about that!
In my free time, I go walking with the dogs, I play squash once a week, I like listening to music or go to concerts. The last one was Orishas at the blue note festival and it was really great. Unfortunately for the band, there was not a lot of public (and I'm being euphemistic here!) but the concert was really fantastic!

I love sports such as tennis, soccer but I prefer watching it than playing it myself! :-)
As Belgian I feel extremely proud that Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin-Hardenne are the numbers 2 and 3 of the world! And we should be!!

But what everybody seems to forget is that our men are doing great as well in the ATP ranking!
Olivier Rochus for instance, is number 25! Xavier Malisse, a.k.a. X-man is number 38. Kristof Vliegen, number 35, Christophe Rochus number 67 so we really should be proud of what these people are performing!
My favourite Belgian football team is Anderlecht. |
